The foundation which is a formal recognition of something TTS has been doing since its inception 24 years ago runs on apace. A suprising benefit has been warm reception and importance that new job applicants place on this aspect of TTS. It seems everyone wants to work somewhere where a little bit of difference is being made. Lets face it this is isn't world changing- we're a company run for the benefits of its customers, employees and owners but the difference a little money placed in the right space is remarkable.
I recently returned from Kenya and met Elizabeth Gathoni who is a bright but poor girl from rural Kenya. 400 hundred pounds a year has entirely changed her life buying her a year's boardng school education- what does that get you in the UK? UK independents are a lot more expensive! Maybe we should all send our kids there- weather's better! Elizabeth is now on her way to being trained to become a nurse in the hope 'she can put something back and help her nation' - you can't argue with that- go go Elizabeth!
Here's a pic of that charity we found in Kenya- an amazing story have a look. www.kariandusi.co..uk.
